Thank you for your interest in BNI of Middle Tennessee, Central Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Every member of our BNI region acts as a part of the marketing team for the other members of their chapter, with the aim of securing qualified business referrals for each other.
The best way to find out about BNI is to visit a chapter. Visitors may attend chapter meetings twice ONLY (one chapter twice, or two chapters once each), before they will be asked to make a decision about joining.
It is important for visitors to be aware of the following:
- Only one person from any professional specialty is permitted to join each BNI chapter.
- An individual BNI member may represent only one professional specialty.
- Members represent their primary occupation.
- Attendance is critical. Chapters conduct weekly business meetings of 90 min duration, and all members commit to weekly attendance.

We want you to be a successful networker and raving fan! Understanding the fundamentals of how to work BNI's success system is critical to your success and longevity is essential to your success. This is why all members must participate in a Member Success Program workshop within the first 60 days of joining.
You should note that some professions (particularly residential mortgage brokers, realtors, and financial advisors) may find it extremely difficult to find a chapter or forming group with an opening for their business category. If you are unable to find a chapter with a vacancy for you, don't worry...we can help!
Beginning with our second chapter, all of our team got started because one person wanted to grow their business with BNI but simply didn't have a seat available! Our local team has been helping motivated professionals like you build successful new chapters starting with one person since 1995. If you are interested in starting your own chapter, please contact our office at 615-297-0076, send email or complete the online information request form. We will have one our Chapter Formation Specialists contact you and help guide you through this process.
